The miradouro da Portela is an incredible viewpoint over the Penha de Aguia mountain and the village of Porto da Cruz. Take the time to stop there if you are on the north-eastern part of the island: it's worth a look! You can get there by driving up the ER110 from Santa Cruz or Machico.
