The Nova & Do Moinho waterfall is quite famous in Madeira. It can be discovered through the Levada Nova - Leva do Moinho loop hike, and it's a bit of a highlight of the region's breathtaking walk. Indeed, the waterfall is located on the cliff overlooking the valley that leads to Ponto do Sol, a small coastal village in the south of Madeira.
The waterfall gushes out of the rock to flow down below. Hikers will pass just below the waterfall following the path carved into the rock, which allows you to continue your hike.
